The number of seats in any Agricultural University or College is far more than the number of B.Sc. Forestry seats and the number of Agriculture graduates is more than the Forestry graduates. So there is more competition in case of agriculture as compared to forestry. Also in case of State or Central Government posts, if there is vacancy, the eligibility criteria is B.Sc. Agriculture and Allied Sciences that means Forestry students are also eligible for those posts. But for Forestry jobs, only B.Sc. Forestry students are eligible. So there is a greater scope of B.Sc.
